To The N executives,
Rumors have been going around that there is going to be a break from new Degrassi episodes being shown on THE-N for the whole month of November. Could this be because your going to edit episodes such as Time Stands Still? Personally I, and the others who have signed this petition, think it's unfair that the U.S gets edited episodes or even not being able to see the episodes at all. Some of the material that you screen from us is on basic channels. Take shootings for instance, they get shown all the time on programs such as Law and Order, CSI, etc. Another subject that caused a ruckus last season, abortion. It's such a controversial subject I can understand why you had doubts about showing it, but it's life and people make decisions others do not agree with. Of course I have to bring up your catch phrase "Real.Life.Now", no it's not real life, not if you edit everything we see. If School shootings, abortions, drug usage and other important issue's can be shown on the news, then it can be shown on a television show. After each dilemma on the show, there is always something to be heard, something to learn to teach the viewers not to make the same mistakes. This is the 21st century, please do not screen us in and consider what we have to say. Thank you.

i agree strongly with this topic. i beleive the N butchers these episodes, until they just dont add up right. its unnecissary, and pointless. if the N is for teens, then you would allow teens to see the REAL issues, not keep it covered like it never happe
