Stop The Roaming Gnome

This is an open letter to casting directors and studio executives with the company Travelocity.com who insist on using the marketing campaign featuring "The Roaming Gnome"

These commercials depecit a horrible series of events in which a Gnome (A knock on short people everywere) is show strapped to the roof of a taxi cab, run over by a hotel bellboy and electrocuted by trying to fit an american appliance in a european socket.

They are staggering example of the difficulties vertically challenged people must face on a daily basis. Contrary to popular belief people who are closer to the ground share the same mental capacity and feelings as "normal" sized people. We as a society DO NOT ALLOW racist, or otherwise politically incorrect sterotypes on television; so the mere notion that this type of advertising could get past sensors and make it's way on television quite frankly makes me sick.

We, The Undersigned, recommend any or all of the following courses of action:

1. Stop the Roaming Gnome commercials at once.
2. Issue a public apology.
3. Return the Gnome back to his family.

May God have mercy on your souls.
