Streamload / Mediamax Abuse or Fraud?

If you are a displeased paying member (account holder) of Streamload / Mediamax, please consider signing this petition.
The purpose of this petition is to make public notice of the inability of the online storage company Streamload, now renamed Mediamax to uphold to the contract that they have set forth regarding online storage. Also, the lack of response from the company concerning a multitude of issues from over charging account holders to 'supposedly' secure files simply vanishing.
Aside from signing this petition, I also recommend you either call or write in a complaint to their local Better Business Bureau. Streamload / Mediamax information is as follows:

Mediamax, formerly known as Streamload is "advertised to:"
..allow digital users to easily and securely send, store, move, receive and access their digital files; like video, music and photos. Streamload provides its users the freedom to move their media to and from people and devices as well as store and deliver their collections to others without regard to size or storage limitations. For the first time, people can get to their own content at the right place at the right time without having to buy additional devices. Streamload is freedom for today's digital lifestyle...

BUT... Since we were force fed Mediamax, it has not worked like advertise! And I say that loosely and as respectful as I possibly can! From it's buggy interface to the site regularly being down for maintenance, I can honestly not think of one particular thing that works like it has been advertised!
No, our files are not secure. Files randomly vanish. Here is an example for you:
I uploaded 250 keep sake images thinking they are now in a safe place so that I can now delete the ones on my hard drive and then transfer these images from Mediamax to my home PC.
Only to find when I go later to now download them, 85 are gone! After emailing Mediamax support for 4 days, 5 times a day and getting only automated responses... I gave up, but made a point to never ever count on Mediamax to do "as advertise" and store my most precious images!
On another issue, file availability... lets say I take those 250 images and zip or rar compress them into a series of zips/rars, and send them or just store them at Mediamax until I am ready to download them. Well, on the regular basis... when you go to download them, you can get to 90\% downloaded and then be given an error that the remaining files are 'unavailable'. Now, not only have your files been completely deleted... but you have just used X amount of your alloted downloads that are now completely useless. This has been a major issue along the long list of other issues, and what's Mediamax's resolution for this? If you send enough emails complaining they just give you X amount of free alloted download megabytes. Ok, so you give me free MBs to use... But, HELLO... if I can't download what I need or my files are gone, just WHAT do I need free MBs for?
That is equivalent to putting a band-aid on a gaping wound!
I could go on and on from the terrible Mediamax email support (thats IF you get a response) to being over charged and taking 5 months to correct THAT particular month's error and in the meantime there is no roll-over in MBs, so what you don't use.. you loose!
Now, I don't know about you... But what if your gas and electric company, which is a service, didn't work for hours, 2, 3, or 4 days a week... would you be upset? What if your internet service provider just randomly stopped working for 2, 3, or 4 hours per day for 4 days a week? Would you be upset?
Well after a year of this, I am no longer upset, I am down right pissed! Not so much because the service doesn't work, but because of the way the company has treated me as a PAYING customer! As a paying customer I think we deserve better without having to demand to be treated like the folks that actually built your company into what it is today, so that you can now go out and get those hefty corporate contracts! Actually, I think we deserve what your contract says we PAY for. Don't turn your blog off because you are being overwhelmed with posts, listen to your PAYING customers.
So with that, I Ieave it to others to stand up and be heard, leave your comments but more importantly, leave some details pertaining to actual issues you are having.

Lastly, someone asked me, "Well, why not just leave that storage company and join another?" As if I haven't considered that 1,000,000,000,000 times! I answered, "Because I have invested so much time, effort, and gigs of files there that it would take me forever and even more money to download it all, BUT if I could POSSIBLY start over... I WOULD IN A HEARTBEAT!"
