Students Against The Revised Timetable

Many people do not agree with the current changes to lunch times. Decreasing students lunch by 15 minutes decreases the time available to simply eat their lunch and take part in recreational activities. Many people also use this time to continue work as they have a suitable time period in which to do so.

One major factor is the number of class rooms. At one point between lunches the entire school will need the correct subject classroom and there are simply not enough facilities at the moment. Currently the resources are stretched out enough.

A point raised by 6th formers is the effect that the new revised lunch times will have on their 4A and 4B lessons. If a student has both of these lessons then there is a 25 minute overlap between both lessons. This means that lessons will be greatly disrupted and in effect, one lesson will have to be missed.
