Denise Martin est un l'une des premiиres transsexuelles d'Irlande а avoir bйnйficiй d'une opйration de conversion sexuйe, il y a 22 ans. Faute de papiers d'identitй а son nouveau sexe, elle ira dans une prison pour hommes le mois prochain, aprиs avoir refusй de payer une amende pour "trouble а l'ordre public" dans sa ville natale de Larne en Irlande.

I sign the petition of support for Denise Martin.

Denise Martin is fighting for the right to go to jail - as long as its a womens prison. Martin, one of Irelands first transsexuals who had a full sex-change operation 22 years ago, faces a prison sentence next month after refusing to pay a fine over a breach of the peace offence in her home town of Larne.
