When postman Roger Annies of Churchfields, an estate in an English town, told residents on his round how to avoid junk mail he considered it part of customer service.
But bosses at the Royal Mail - which makes millions of pounds a year from unwanted post - were less than impressed with his dedication. They immediately suspended the 48-year-old father of two, who has worked as a postman for the more than 10 years, and he is now facing the sack.
We the undersigned think the actions of "Royal Mail" is disgraceful and ought to be brought to answer for their disgraceful actions. Even worse, "Royal Mail" should be made pay for their subsequent blackmailing words and actions stated to the general public.
The directors ought to hang their personal heads with shame over the way they are running a nationwide business. They are treating the British public like dirt.
The undsersigned are protesting about the above matter and showing our support for Mr. Roger Annies. He deserves a medal.

As a postman myself I had thought about doing a similar leaflet. Wish I had. I think Royal Mail should have the courage to take an ethical lead on reducing door 2 door deliveries. If industries are driven by profit only then we are all in trouble.
