Tell Congress to Condemn Teenage Murders

Last week in Iran two boys were executed because they had sex with one another. It is not just appalling that these boys would be murdered by the state because of something an intimate as consensual sex, but the fact that they were children is an even greater assault on our sensibilities of justice.
We call on the US Congress to condemn this action of the Iranian government. It was a violation of international law, and a purely barbaric act of cruelty. Being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender should not be a crime anywhere in the world and executions must stop immediately.
US Congress must call on the Iranian government to end death as a punishment for people who engaged in consensual acts of sex. No matter the act of or actors involved.
