The Continuation of Distribution of Japanese Anime in the U.S.A.

It has come to my attention that a petition to ban anime has been issued. Thus, I have designed a petition to continue the distribution of anime in the states. It is unfair to begin a one-sided petition against something, without a petition for those on the other side to sign as well. I am now issuing that petition. My reasons for this petition are not of my personal benefit. Anime has taught many people valuable lessons about life; they have helped build several thousands of positive morals in the minds of children. This is not to say that all anime is beneficial to children, but either way every anime has an age limit. These limits are viewable on the television, and on any anime DVD in the stores. Anime is in no way a violation of any article in the Bill of Rights, thus it is not a cause for inhumane acts of the people. It is a parents responsibility to monitor what their children watch, and it is their responsibility to abide by the age limitations of all television shows, and other related material. Anime is protected under the Bill of Rights and the Constitution by means of the Freedom of the Press, along with Freedom of Speech. For one to ban anime, they are causing an obstruction of justice in which this country, this society, this way of life was based upon.
