September 1987 - Michael Jackson donates $20,000 Dollars to the family of young boy named Yoshiyaka who was kidnapped and killed.

January 1985- Michael Jackson is the first to arrive at the studio for his song We are the World, which brought dozens of nationally acclaimed artists to together to alleviate famine in Africa. The song is the largest grossing song in the history of recording arts, which brought over 60 million dollars channeled directly into the countries most affected by famine.


October 1987- Michael Jackson donates 10,000 Pounds to Children in Need in Great Britain

April 1988- Michael Jackson announces 4000 concert tickets will be donated to ITV Telethon which will raise 200,000 pounds for Great Ormond Street Hospital in Great Britain
