From: The Coalition to Remove the "Star & Buc wild" Show from WBTJ-106.5 Richmond VA
For the last six weeks Richmonds WBTJ-106.5 The Beat has been running a hideously unfunny and offensive show laced with profanity. The 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. morning show "Star & Buc Wild" is hosted by Star, also known as Troi Torain. His sidekicks include Buc Wild, Crossover Negro Reese & White Trash Helene. The following are some of the words that we find offensive:
Nigger - Whore/hoe - Faggot - Bastard - Bitch - FU - Koon - Nuts - Goddamn - Kike - Coohie - Ass - Spic - Slut - White Trash - Crossover Negro
This type of show is not welcomed in Richmond.

We the undersigned are disgusted by the blatant display and use of inappropiate language. The Richmond Metropolitan Community is united in expressing our displeasure to WBTJ-106.5 The Beat and its parent company, Clear Channel Communication.
We would also like to make the companies that chose to give their advertising dollars to Clear Channel and its affiliates aware of the type of company/show they are supporting and how their advertising dollars are being spent, and more importantly how their target audience perceives this ordeal.

I THINK THAT THE SHOW IS NOT FUNNY OR ENTERTAINING AT ALL IT IS TERRIBLY SCIPTED AND VERY OFFENSIVE I ENJOYED THE DOUG BANKS SHOW TEN TIMES MORE. NOW 106.5 HAS LOST ONE OF THEIR MORNING LISTENERS BEACAUSE OF THIS SHOW.
