As we all know many of our politicians claimed expenses and were made to account for them for 4 years, this unacceptable behaviour went on for over 30 years when Margaret thatcher said " I can not give you a pay rise the people wont stand for it, there must have been hundreds of privileged people in the house of lords who let out a sigh of releif, we dont allow criminals to cap there punishment why allow our elected officials too, imagine a burgular saying to the Judge, sorry Judge I'm only letting you go back four years.
