We, the undersigned respectfully request that the Texas Public Utilities Commission institute a change in the state of Texas code for all utility companies that operate in the state of Texas. The change would reflect new tree trimming standards based on tree species requirements set by ANSI A300
And that these changes reflect more forward thinking state utility requirements that are presently being used by the state of Oklahoma and cities such as Houston, Texas and Nashville,Tennessee who have worked diligently to avoid home owner conflicts while still insuring reliable power service to all consumers.
