Triple J radio - please broadcast The Cure Sydney 1981 full show !

The year 2011 is the 30th anniversary of the release of the legendary "Faith" album by legendary UK band The Cure.
A number of times over the years Robert Smith himself has stated the
song "Faith" is the Cure song which means the most and is most
personal to him of all Cure songs.
Just a few weeks ago Laurence Tolhurst (The Cure's drummer at the
time) said in an interview on radio that he'd emailed Robert Smith recently about the possibility of playing some shows together next year for the 30th anniversary of the Faith album with the original line-up.
Faith is an album which has meant a lot to thousands of people over the last
30 years including the band members themselves.

Triple J radio (Australia) recorded one of The Cure's shows on "The Picture Tour" for the Faith album on 17th August 1981 at
the Capitol Theatre in Sydney, however the only recordings fans have to listen to are incomplete poor sound quality degenerated run down 30 year old cassette tape recordings (apart from a handful of songs Triple J has broadcast over the past 20 years). The complete show has never been broadcast.
There are just a few soundboard recordings existing from the entire tour and Triple J's Sydney recording is by far the best, it's a fantastic sounding recording / live mix which perfectly captures the atmosphere of the legendary Picture Tour shows. The band play the entire Faith album (excluding the song Doubt which has never been played live), including a brilliant performance of the song Faith itself, and just the 2nd or 3rd live performance ever of legendary single Charlotte Sometimes which at the time had not yet been released.

There are thousands of people around the world who would love for Triple J to play this recording in full, maybe a good time for them to do so would be sometime in 2011 to celebrate the albums 30th anniversary !?, a time even band members think is worth celebrating !
