USA Mir3 loyalty recognition

As current numbers stand the ratio of players expected to play the Legend of Mir 3 USA server when it returns is split roughly 50:50 (Old American server players to players coming across from Europe). The players who make the community of the old North American server have played the game for various lengths of time and helped to build a strong community. The server was up for almost a year and in that time we experience a lot of lag, bugs and very little support.





On the other hand the players coming across from the European server have jumped ship at first sign of trouble when something better has come along. For those of us that Play mir3 (from both servers) it IS an addiction. This is why players from the european server have yet to leave. They would like to leave the game but there has been no other alternative. Mir is addictive and they want to keep playing it. Now they have a second company offering mir that they know about they have (on the most part) left the troubled waters of GamesRouter.





This shows us something about the nature of the players in the current community. On one hand are the ex-North American server players who are more likely to stick with the company if there are any problems in the future of running the game. On the other hand there are the players from the european server, who are likely to leave and go back to their high level characters on the european server if Ient have any problems in the future.





The undersigned acknowledge that there does need to be a wipe of all characters from the old server, for the good of the server and the company (I Entertainment). We do however, feel that something more needs to be done to show appreciation for the loyalty of the old server players than keeping our player names.
