Venlafaxine Withdrawal Information

Venlafaxine is one of the hardest antidepressants to withdraw from. Symptoms can be severe enough that some people have to go into hospital to come off it. However there is no mention of withdrawal effects in the manufacturere's information leaflet. This means that many people are unaware that they will have such difficulties when they try to stop taking venlafaxine. Please amend your drug information leaflets so that they provide information about withdrawal effects to those taking venlafaxine.

Folliwng 75mg per day of modified release venlafaxine for 18 months I am down to zero after 2 weeks and have experienced severe brain shocks particularly linked to eye movement. I am also experiencing visual disturbances, with over bright images.
