Dear Rt. Hon. David Cameron,
We, the undersigned, feel that young people should be given more freedom. Currently, nobody under the age of 16 in the UK can be given a GPs referral to a psychiatrist without their parents being informed, but they can be criminally responsible from the age of 12. How is this fair? We feel that, if a child can be responsible for a crime when they are 12, they can be responsible enough to see a therapist without their parents knowing as well.
