Why these crazy prices only for Brazil?

This petition hopes to collect signatures from U2 fans or who intends to see their Vertigo Tour 06 Shows in Brazil, in February, this year. The objective is to let the band know what is happening here about the prices and the division of the crowd and that we are very disappointed by this situation. The tickets for the closest area to the stage, called Hot Area, cost around U$400.00. This area just exists here, and, despite Brazils bad financial situation, our prices are the highest in the world.

Besides this, we are upset about the whole organization. There are problems with the sale, which will be done only in two cities and the internet; problems with the official announcement, which has taken a very long time to happen.

So, we, who have waited to see U2 for a long time (8 years!), hope something can be done to make things better for us.

O objetivo й levar ao conhecimento da banda o que estб acontecendo aqui em relaзгo aos preзos e a divisгo das бreas de pъblico, e dizer que estamos muito decepcionados com essa situaзгo. Os ingressos para a бrea mais prуxima ao palco, chamada de Hot Area, custam cerca de U$400.00 (R$1000,00). Й uma бrea que sу existe aqui, e, apesar da situaзгo financeira do Brasil nгo ser das melhores, ela tem os preзos mais altos do mundo.

Alйm disso, estamos furiosos com toda a organizaзгo do evento. Hб ainda problemas com as vendas, que sу acontecerгo em duas cidades e pela internet; e hб um atraso enorme na divulgaзгo oficial dos espetбculos.

Entгo, nуs, que esperamos tanto tempo pra ver o U2 (8 anos!), esperamos que algo possa ser feito em nosso benefнcio.
