22 Episodes for Alias Season Five

We, the following, would like to submit for acknowledgement and consideration, our faith, our support, and our perseverance. Alias has been a shown held near and dear to our hearts for years. We have gone through ups and downs with timeslots, casting, and various other trials, and yet we still come back because of said faith, support and perseverance.







So we are now coming together to ask you one simple request. Based on various statements by ABC President Steve McPherson, insinuating that this will not only be Alias's final season but it will also not have the full 22 episodes, we feel arguably let down. Where we, as the fans, always come through, it seems as though the support of the ABC network is rarely in full force. While that statement is clearly up for debate, we do feel that moving to a Thursday timeslot is a death wish. ABCs Thursday night track record is hardly breathing.







As fans, we would rather see 22 episodes of Alias, as opposed to 18 episodes with Jennifer Garner in every single one. We are fans of the show, and though she is like a part of our own families, we do not tune in just to see Ms. Garner. That being said, we truly hope you take our support into consideration when making the final decision about ending Alias. While we do not wish for this show to carry on forever, we simply would like to see it end in a way that does the past four years justice.
