We believe the charges are baseless, express bars to extradition under the Extradition Act 2003 apply, and extradition would be incompatible with Mr Hairbyar Marris Convention rights" under the Human Rights Act of 1998.
Mr Hairbyar Marris arrest and the pending extradition proceedings appear to be a vindictive maneuver motivated by improper political objectives. These impermissible motives preclude his extradition. (Extradition Act 2003, Part 1, 11, 13.) Mr Hairbyar Marri is the son of veteran Baloch leader Nawab Khair Bakash Marri, and he himself is a Human rights campaigner and a peaceful political leader of Baloch nation, who has long been critical of the poor human rights condition and the unjustices against the Baloch people in Balochistan. The timing of the latest arrest and pssible extradition proceedings indicates an additional improper purpose and it is to be noted that his Elder brother Mir Balach Marri had been killed in pakistan by Pakistani forces as an extrajudicial killing, therefore it is really dangerous for the life of Mr Hairbyar Marri to extradite him to Pakistan and it is requested to let him live peacefully in Great Britian.
By signing this petition we urgently request the government of Great Britain, acting through each of its ministers, agencies, bodies, offices, and agents, including the Prime Minister, the Northern Ireland Secretary, the Home Secretary, and the Parliament, to refuse the request of the Pakistan Government to extradite Mr Hairbyar Marri to Pakistan.
