As Katorse aired on television, it had become a big hit not only in the Philippines, but also around the world through The Filipino Channel (TFC). During its four and a half months run (August-January 2010) it had gathered million of viewers watching Katorse everyday.
I believe that this TV series had awakened many teenagers about parenthood and the consequences they would be getting when they become a parent in such an early age. In addition, this series showed the importance of family and education in each and everyones life. We, the fans, had learned different things people may encounter throughout their lives. We also became aware of the circumstances teenage parents have been experiencing which made the viewers understood the life they have.
But as Katorse ended on January 8, 2010 we cannot deny the sadness that enveloped our beloved watchers. The fact that this TV series had taught everyone numerous lessons in life, we, the fans of Katorse, are asking to release Katorse on DVD.
