By signing this petition, we support the Citizen efforts to move the TSP Towers Niagara, Inc plant and production traffic away from Hayes Rd and Allanburg Rd in Thorold South due to the unprecedented size and weight of the products being shipped. Existing roadway easements are already in place to accommodate this request making it a relatively quick solution.
The route of Hayes Road and Allanburg Road puts homes at risk of damage and residents at risk of injury. This would be particularly evident during an emergency response as vehicle traffic would be blocked for approximately 30 minutes. An alternate route direct to Highway 20 or via the EXISTING ROAD ALLOWANCE contained in Basil Reid Park would remove these risks almost in their entirity.
