We the undersigned would like to first thank Blue Underground for taking on the daunting task of assembling an Ultimate Blind Dead box set. This is without a doubt one of the most highly anticipated box set releases in recent memory for cult film collectors. And it is also the reason we believe Blue Underground is more than capable of tackling the following project:
The Anthropophagus 3-Disc Box Set.
It is the conviction of the undersigned that Blue Underground is the best suited for such a project, given your record of high quality releases in the past. If it were up to the people to make the box set themselves, this is what we would like to see included:
1) Both Anthropophagus and its sequel released each on their own disc, with a 3rd disc of extras. We would like the following titles affixed respectively- Anthropophagus: The Beast & Anthropophagus 2: Absurd.
2) A Tribute To The Late Joe DAmato: An essay about Mr. DAmatos life, a graphic timeline of his contributions to film in relation to other cult films out at the time and a standard filmography.
3) Liner notes about the two films.
4) A reproduction of the original poster art for each film on the opposite side of the menu card for each film.
5) A fresh English dub of each film.
6) Each film fully uncut, with the picture/sound restored/remastered from the best elements possible.
7) Cast and crew commentaries with those available.
8) Widescreen presentation for each film.
9) Any additional extras on a separate 3rd disc.

With the recent popularity of Euro-horror on DVD, it's a wonder noone has released the Anthropophagus films on R1.
