Apple to change MacBook Pro Superdrive to Dual Layer

The news at MWSF 2006 was great for many of us, with the introduction of the new Intel based iMacs and MacBook Pro.
However, forums and discussion sites are being filled with questions about the drop in specification of the Superdrive. This has been downgraded from an '8x Dual Layer Drive' to a '4x Single Layer Drive'.
Of course we all know it is an option to purchase an external Dual Layer drive, but it would be nice to have it built into the MacBook Pro.
I would like you to all join this partition, to lobby Apple Computer Inc. to revise the specification to an 8x Dual Layer Drive, even if they had to make a small charge for doing this.

Dear Mr Jobs,
May I firstly congratulate you on a superb Keynote at MWSF 2006, with some great announcements.
The undersigned on this partition would like to ask for your kind consideration to revise the specification of the recently announced MacBook Pro.
Our main concern is the downgrade in speed and dual layer capability of the internal Superdrive.
We would like to ask that the specification is revised to include an '8 Speed Dual Layer Superdrive' either as a standard option, or offered prior to shipment at a small cost to those that have pre-ordered, or as a BTO/CTO option when ordering.
