Billy Gunn in the Hall of Fame

We, the signers of this petition, demand that Billy Gunn be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009. Billy Gunn has proven to encompass all the qualities of a legendary WWE wrestler -- tall (6'4"), muscular, wrestled with greats like The Rock and HHH, and even dismantled them in the ring (proof later in the statement). He was also the 3rd longest-lasting employee (consecutive years, so Ric Flair doesn't count) in the WWE next to Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker.







Billy Gunn, AKA Mr. Ass, is the man who everybody wants to retire, not because he is a poor wrestler, but because people want to celebrate his incredible outing in the WWE. His gimmick as Mr. Ass was one of a man with a large ego, but that is not true -- to be in the WWE for as long as Michaels and Undertaker and say 'no' to the WWE gold is an example of a brave man swallowing his pride to allow younger talent to succeed and newer talent to jump ahead of him when he rightfully deserved the title (look at The Rock as an example of this).







Furthermore, Billy Gunn has proven that he can destroy any seasoned wrestler. Look at him destroy HHH:

The Rock is eventually going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, so why the hell can't the man who destroyed and dismantled him, Billy Gunn, be inducted? Let's show the WWE that we like muscular wrestlers who have the modesty to say, "Screw that belt, Mr. McMahon.
