Milwaukee, Wisconsin is a city with a progressive tradition. However, our airwaves are currently dominated by local and syndicated conservative talk show hosts.
Since liberal talk radio is currently unavailable to Milwaukee radio listeners except through satellite radio or the internet, it is our feeling that radio listeners aren't getting the full story on many issues.
With the success of Air America radio, which just picked up its 50th affiliate, and syndicated talk show hosts like Ed Schultz, liberal talk radio has disproven the conventional wisdom that there wasn't a market for it.
We the undersigned contend there is a marketplace not being served here, and are asking you to do what you can to bring Air America and liberal talk radio to Milwaukee.
