No need to cut a sport that costs next to nothing to fund. The only costs for cross country include busing and meet fees. This sport is way less expensive than football or any other sport. To cut it from a school is not a smart choice and shouldnt be done

Cross Country students consistently outperform other students, academically. It's not an accident. I know there are other ways to cut expenses for the team. There is a compromise here if you open your minds.

I have been an educator for over 20 years and to be honest cutting sports and activities does not save money. I would try other cost saving moves such as a freeze of administration salaries as a better way to save money. Also give the parents a chance to
