Tayfm were forcf to axe radio presenters as a result of the new Bauer Media takeover in exchange for a networked evening show from Clyde1 from 7pm-6am. Leaving daytime shows 4 hours each, making up a total of 12 hours of local shows and a non-stop music show. Bauer have stated in papers such as The Scotsman and Herald many times they want to do away with locality of commercial radio stations around Scotland. Opting to only have National News. One of the tayfm presenters Sharrel Carroll who has been there for 14 years was one of the casualties to be axed and out of work, if you would like her to be reinstated at Radiotay please show your support by signing the petition.

like the local views expressed by the LOCAL DJ. Work in Dundee dont want to know about things that we are not interested in. ie music and events in Dundee are not expressed the same all over.

What would tayfm do without Shez. I had no idea she was axed, what's that all about Mr Baxter said it was nothмng to do with cost cutting yeah right ! Well in that case employ the axed djs again. No enjoyment from the non-local content. I'm sick and tired
