Mr. Johnson,
We the fans of the NEW YORK Jets hereby petition you to keep your promise and return the Jets to their rightful home within the borders of New York. You made a promise to the fans and season ticket holders that you would indeed do so. Anyone can understand your frustrations at the failed West Side Stadium, but that is no reason to give up. Queens would have been an ideal location. Central to all fans in the region and easily accessible from the current training facility. As your organization has stated, the necessary support was already lining up. You also promised that the team would never become the New Jersey Jets. Yet by relocating the corporate headquarters and training facility that is exactly what they will become. Please - we implore you to walk away from the current arrangement while you still can. This is a terrible injustice. The Meadowlands will always be known, first and foremost, as the home of the New York Giants. You are depriving the Jets and all of their fans of the identity they so desperately need. So please BRING OUR JETS HOME!
