Cheque bounce has been made a criminal offense in India under the provisions of the NI 138, how ever no proper procedure has been provided.
All existing safeguards like juriducation bases on value and quantum of senctence has been done away.
No escape route has been provided for illegal and out right cheat cases by illegal money lenders.
We request the law commission and central Law minister to provide proper procedrue so that innocent can eascape from clutches of the loan sharks.
