Insofar as Messiah College reserves the right to relocate students remaining on campus to apartments in Fry A, C, and Mellinger A over Christmas Break 2004 for the stated purpose of [assisting Public] Safety in monitoring the college whileon breakbecause [these apartments] are on the main street of the college, (as opposed to, I assume, the impossible-to-navigate backstreets and alleyways) the students whose rights to privacy have been impinged upon, and moreover greatly inconvenienced, therefore petition. In response we seek an alternative means of housing students over said break, possibly the one that has been in effect for the past 95 years.

I understand if students normally brought all of their stuff home during breaks, then you would have the right to put people in other peoples rooms. But NO ONE does that here so basically everyones stuff is going to still be in their apartment and be used

This policy is unfair. It is like Messiah renting out our appartments for two weeks while we're on vacation. Does the college have a plan to compensate me for my personal belongings if they are damaged by strangers who will be living in my appartment? We
