This petition was started to get as many signatures as possible to get Cloghane and Brandon on the new Wild Altantic Way.
The Wild Atlantic Way is a new coastal route going from Donegal to Cork following coast and showing off some of the spectacular sights to be seen. However Cloghane and Brandon have been refused for the third time to be included in this new tourist route.
Being included on this route would have a big positive impact on the area. More people means more work which means people can stay and work ion the area they love and call home.
There is a local business in Kerry which was not included on another tourist route but has been included on the Wild Atlantic Way and they have already seen an increase in business.
If big travel guides like The Lonely Planet guide and National Geographic Traveller have seen this area for the beauty it holds why can't Fáilte Ireland see the same thing.
The Lonely Planet Guide described the area as "a little piece of utopia hiding on the Dingle Peninsula".
The National Geographic Traveller referred to the area as "the beautiful place on earth".
There are many places like Cloghane and Brandon which have been excluded by Fáilte Ireland give all rural places in Ireland a chance.
