In light of the 2G spectrum scam, and evidence of rampant corruption in many other areas, we urge you to protect national interest by taking the following measures:
1. Cancel the 2G spectrum allocation, and reallocate through fresh, transparent, international competitive bidding, and impose steep windfall taxes on the ill-gotten gains from the 2G licencees.
2. Enact a law to make all contracts involving corruption/loss to exchequer void, and impose a civil penalty five times the loss sustained by the exchequer.
3. Enact a comprehensive National Anti-corruption Law and constitute an Independent and Empowered Anti-corruption Commission.
