Consideration for the Evacuation of Internationals in Lebanon

As noted in an article posted on TIME.com on July 18, 2006 titled "Beirut's Real Refugees" by Christopher Allbritton brought my attention to a group of people in Lebanon who are largely being ignored. Among those being ignored are citizens from Iraq, Sudan, Somalia, the Phillipines, Ethiopia and Sri Lanka who are unlikely able to escape from Lebanon due to having insufficient funds or having "ineffective," "inattentive," or "non-existent" governments.

We the undesigned seek the attention of foreign governments and NGOs who have already committed resources to evacuate their citizens to consider the evacuation of these remaining members of the global community.
