Declaration of Intention to boycott Static Shcok Special

This petition is to emphatically serve notice to DC Comics that we, the undersigned will boycott the upcoming issue of Static Shock Special, unless DC Comics reverses its decision to not donate sales from the sale of this book to either the surviving family of the late Dwayne McDuffie, creator of Static Shock and Milestone Comics Universe.

We feel that to not donate the sales of this comic, which in part is being billed/solicited as a tribute to the late Mr. McDuffie, is disingenuous and shows poor judgment and taste.

We feel that donating the sales, or portion thereof to either a charity in line with the late Mr. McDuffie's sympathies or to the late Mr. McDuffie's surviving family is the only acceptable thing for DC Comics to do under the circumstances.

Again, unless these actions are undertaken - or similar actions of a charitable nature - we, the undersigned, will NOT be purchasing the Static Shock Special.
