Sullivan County Commissioners: Darla Bortz, Betty Reibson, & Robert Getz, being fully aware of the legitimate concerns and objections by the residents and property owners of Sullivan County, PA have, in their letter on November 4, 2010, decided to "urge" the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to grant approval to Central New York Oil & Gas, L.L.C. (CNYOG) for their North/South Pipeline Project. This is a direct conflict of interests with the concerned residents and property owners of Sullivan County, PA as documented by comments recorded at the scoping hearing conducted by FERC on October 13, 2010 at the Sullivan County Court House, and by comments filed via the FERC website public comment portal on or before the deadline of October 25, 2010.
