We the signers of this petition request the Dept of Labors Office of Inspector General (OIG) to conduct a racketeering investigation of the NFLPA, its use of intimidated agents, deliberate misinformation, utilizing hired gun experts such as the Groom Law Group to design an help conduct a strategy of retirement plan beneficiary confusion, along with a campaign of ruthless denial of player disability claims, participation in retirement plan conflicts of interest, making false, misleading, and incomplete reports to the government and its membership, using a stream of cash trapping insurance, investment, and professional service schemes to amass and hoard over $1 billion of funds intended for player and retired player benefits: We ask the OIG and all other appropriate Department of Labor entities to assert their authority to assure the open honest operation of the NFLPA. We want the OIGs to assert the mandate outlined below in its mission statements:
X is unique among inspectors general because it has an externalЁ program function to conduct criminal investigations to combat the influence of labor racketeering and organized crime in the nations labor unions.
X conducts labor racketeering investigations in three distinct areas (employee benefit plans, labor-management relations, and internal union affairs).
