This petition is to let Disney, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, and Pixar Animation Studio, know that we, the undersigned, respectfully request a proper DVD release for the November 7th, 2006 release of CARS. Information has come forth, that signals the DVD will be a single-disc release, and will be rather light on bonus materials. This is not satisfactory. Previously, Pixar films have been made available as a Two-Disc Collector's Edition, and now each Pixar film released to DVD has a Two-Disc Edition, that gives the consumer more than just the film, but, deep insight into the creation of the films. We would like for the same respect to be shown to CARS, and expect no less from Disney, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, and Pixar. This film is yet another wonderful addition to the line of great family films that Pixar has created, and it deserves to be released in a manner consistent with past Pixar films released on DVD. We respectfully request that CARS be released to DVD, and given the best treatment possible, right from the start. As such, if only a single-disc is released, we, the undersigned, will not purchase CARS on DVD, until it is given a Two-Disc Edition, with the best possible transfer of the film, and the highest quality, and quantity, of bonus features that we have come to expect.

I always look forward to Pixar theatrical releases and DVDs. They have never disappointed until now. Cars is a wonderful movie and I so want the 2-disc treatment like in the past. Thanks for your time.

I am shocked that the longest and most detailed of all Pixar films is to receive such a tiny handful of bonus material; I was looking forward to extensive features on a second disc. The list of excellent bonus features that could be included for this film
