Anchor Bay Entertainment, fans of the slasher genre have shown their support for Adam Green's original Hatchet film on DVD and on Blu Ray. In order that the groundbreaking second film can reach as wide an audience as possible, we request that the Blu Ray release of the film be either encoded for Blu Ray regions A, B and C or be Region Free. This is common practice for genre films, as Highlander BD, Hellraiser and Event Horizon are all region free Blu Ray titles, amongst others.
Hatchet 2 deserves as much support as possible. In order to make this happen, please don't region lock the disc.
