We, the students of St. Stephens Secondary School, have had our privilege of a monthly Dress Down Day revoked. This is an atrocity for us as students, as we feel as though we are made into clones during school hours, except for the formal one day a month where we had a chance to express ourselves and show who we were. With that taken from us, you strip away our individuality. One could argue that we still individualize ourselves through our actions, but we only further depict our selfs with our clothing options. We cannot sit here and do nothing, as we are taught to be ourselves and do what we believe is the correct thing to do, we the students of St. Stephens Secondary School feel that it is incorrect for us to have the inability to express ourselves in this visual manner.
