Educate the teachers about divercity!

Schools are horribly undereducated about Learning Disabillities.


They have no other way to deal with divercity than to send these kids to a psychologist or Mental Health.

Kids with learning disabillities are not mentally unstable, justmis-understood because the teachers and administration are not understanding what Learning Disabillities are.

We should not be treated like freaks just because they are to lazy to pick up a book!

I have just been thrown out of school and told that I needed mental assesment by a professional before I can go back.

Why?

Because I liked to read poetry, study Lenin and WW2 and I do not have any intrest in typical 14 year old girl things (Pop music, drugs, friends, the mall, etc...). I have about 20 recordings of these teachers messages on my mom's cellphone telling her about how they are concerned about me because I am not interested in the clique. I also have several notes from the school saying how concerned about me they are, how mature I am is not normal for a girl my age.... They treated me like a freak. I am not a freak, I am different.

I want people to sign this who agree with me, that the school needs to know how to educate themselves on differences in kids. They need to know that not all kids are the same, that no kids need to be the same to be accepted. They need to be educated.

Let's educate the teachers now.
