We urge the British Prime Minister to take action on the cases of SURJIT ATHWAL (Panjaabi-Sikh) and BANAZ MAHMOUD (Kurdish), both British citizens and victims of 'honour killings'. Whilst other British cases like Lucy Blackman (in Japan), Ian Stillman (in India), Peter Bleach (in India) and Madeleine McCann (in Portugal), have received official intervention from the British Government; Surjit and Banaz's case have been neglected. We urge the Prime Minister to rectify this fundamental inequality; by taking positive action to secure co-operation from the Indian and Kurdistan governments to instigate investigations in respect of outstanding suspects (linked to the above murders) who are living in India and Kurdistan, respectively.
