For a Change in the Philippine Star

For a long time, your lifestyle coverage has been your strength. But that is now not the case. Your lifestyle writers are out of touch. And, worst of all, their values are highly questionable.

Celine Lopez, DJ Montano, and Tim Yap. We do not want these people in our living rooms, influencing our children. And, for this reason, we will no longer buy your publication.

Your writers are devoid of journalistic ethics. They trade favorable articles for clothes and trips and free nights at expensive hotels. They're habitual drug users, whose lavish, out-of-touch, "unreachable" lifestyle is dangerous to even look at.

Is this what you're peddling? What about the youth of our country who struggle to find a place in society free of corruption, drugs and greed? Do you not stand for them?

STAR, it's time you take a long, hard look at yourself. You no longer stand for ethics. It's obvious. You are no good. We no longer want you near us.
