For Classic Media To Release Japanese SciFi and Monster Movie DVDs In Widescreen

Dear Classic Media:
This petition is in regard to some 'classic' Japanese science fiction and monster movies that your company now owns rights to from buying UPA's film catalog. These included your 2002 DVD releases of "Godzilla, King of the Monsters", "Godzilla vs. Mothra", "Godzilla's Revenge", "Terror of Mechagodzilla", and "Rodan," Which were released in pan & scan versions only (despite there being widescreen materials available for "Godzilla vs. Mothra" and "Godzilla's Revenge", as were featured on the previously issued Simitar DVDs). This has caused much disappointment amongst the fans of this genre. We believe including both the widescreen and pan & scan versions of these classic movies in future releases would satisfy both fans/movie buffs and general customers.
The signers of this petition are asking you, Classic Media, to consider putting widescreen versions on your future DVD releases. Some of these movies include:
"Godzilla vs. Monster Zero"
"Frankenstein Conquers the World"
"War of the Gargantuas"
"The Last Days of Planet Earth"
