To everyone, this petition is to start allowing the wild horses run free, and to continue to let them run free. On Friday, May 11, 2007, the real life Phantom Stallion was released, along with his harem (http://www.redding.com/news/2007/may/11/wild/)
The Phantom Stallion resembles Terri Farley's fictional stallion, and she had no idea that it could be actually true. There are many horses out in the wild, but taking them from their home and 'taming' them just to sell them? Is that right? I don't think so. Many of you might not wish to get yourself caught up in this, but for the animals, it's about survival. It's bad enough we made their home smaller; adding roads; houses; buildings. It's just taking part of their home. We drove them out enough, but now they are in danger. Some get oo close to the road, and some get hit. That's just not right. WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
