Tutti i fan di Max Payne non si perderanno il suo film il 17 ottobre 2008, con regia di John Moore (Behind enemy lines, The Omen,)e come attore protagonista Mark Wahlberg (E venne il giorno, Shooter, The departed, The italian Job, La tempesta perfetta). Il problema è che ancora non si conosce chi sia il doppiatore ufficiale del poliziotto più famoso nei videogiochi: Giorgio Melazzi. Sentire nel film una voce diversa dalla perfetta voce di Giorgio sarebbe davvero come non guardare un film di Max Payne.
