Give a "Hug!" OR a "Poke!" on Facebook

To the staff at Facebook:
"Research shows that we need at least three hugs a day to grow and become a better person. A hug is a universal symbol of support, concern, or just a way of saying, 'Im here and I matter.'"
Many members of Facebook have currently been joining groups in support of the Free Hugs Campaign (more information about this can be found at http://www.freehugscampaign.org). It has been recently suggested in the largest of these Facebook groups that the "Poke!" feature offered at the site be changed to "Hug!"
It is understood that Facebook is well-known for the "Poke!" feature, so members of these groups have suggested that an option of picking to "Poke!" or "Hug!" people should be available. Currently, an add-on for Firefox users has been written allowing those using it to never see "Poke!" appear while using Facebook.
By adding the feature "Hug!" to Facebook, it allows friends on this site to show that they care to keep in touch without having to say a word. This option still allows users to "Poke!" those they don't know quite as well, along with allowing Facebook to still have a unique feature to set them aside from all other websites.
Let Facebook users everywhere both give and receive hugs. Support the Campaign for Free Hugs!
