Give Back Artistic Freedom

We, the Potter fans, feel that your legal action toward Warner Bros. and the band members Jarvis Cocker, Jonny Greenwood, and Phil Selway is one of selfishness and absurdity. Many of us have not even heard of your band until now, and thus we may draw upon the conclusion that this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.
However, we may be wrong on this, but our main thoughts are that this whole frenzy surrounding the "use" of your band's name is preposterous. The world of creativity is constantly promoting the motto of "artistic freedom" and yet when such an instance occurs it seems to be fought, ironically, by fellow artists.
We ask that you please drop the charges, but if you cannot, that you promise and swear by God that you will not have the release date of the movie altered in any way. That you will do everything in your power to prevent such a thing from happening.
What you are doing has nothing to do with "fairness". What is fair about preventing someone else from using a name that they feels fits the context it is being used in? All fans of Harry Potter know that in the book the band is the Weird Sisters and as such we feel you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Warner Bros. themselves have proved to you that your name will not be used anywhere in the movie or soundtrack and it should be left at that.
Be fair. Give back artistic freedom.
