Gorgas Library Power Strip

We, the Student Body at the University of Alabama, hereby petition that the University Libraries provide power strips on all large tables in Gorgas Library throughout the semester.
During the weeks preceding finals week, the University provided power strips on all large desks and tables in Gorgas Library to accommodate the large influx of students utilizing the Library. Due to the large increase in the size of the Student Body, these power strips are needed throughout the year to allow for a place for all students to study in Gorgas Library.
As Gorgas stands right now, there are no seats available near a power outlet on most weeknights and weekends. This is not simply not acceptable. We, the Student Body, expect the University to accommodate our study needs in return for moneys we are charged every semester.
