All existing Ministers, MP or MLA's who are either serving or have been at the chair for at least one tenure can be exempted with a waiver.

But for every new entrant to the Indian Politics graduation should be a minimum criterion for the esteemed chair. Our leaders should be enough educated to drive the enlightened and intellectual nation in the right direction.

The comprehensive intellectual growth of the nation can happen only if the leaders are setting up the right example.

Please raise your voice to ensure that every new leader of the nation (MLA, MP, and Minister) is a graduate.

When we have minimum graduation criterion for all government Officials and most of the private sector jobs, then it becomes mandatory that the policy makers for those officials and citizens are at equal educational level if not more. This would set the right example for the society.

A law should be passed by the constitution for the same. This by no means snatches away the opportunity from those who would like to contribute for the nation, but could not do a graduation. The person can always contribute by taking up other roles like Ward member, Corporator, Panchayat, Zila Parisad etc. Alternatively they can work through NGO's and do the social service. But it reflects the right message to the society if the policy makers and powerful posts like MP, MLA and Ministers are a minimum graduates.

The law should exempt those who have already been in the chair. But for every new entrant the educational qualification should be a criterion like any other job in the country.
