I have found that so many secondry schools in the United Kingdom do not allow their pupils to dye their hair - and in some extreme cases, do not allow pupils to have an "extreme hairstyles", for example boys not allowed to shave their hair off, girls to have short hair (as short as the average length of a boys haircut - as you can guess, this isnt very long.) The only reason head teacher do not allow these haircuts is because they believe it ruins the schools reputation. I personally am a student at a secondry school which does not allow any of these hair styles. This petition is simple and straight forward - I would like approximately 3000 people of any age, gender, religion, race to sign this so I can prove to head teachers that hair styles do not affect the reputation of a school - the grades of students, the hygiene affects the reputation of how people think of the school. Please sign this petition if you agree with many people that people should be allowed to dye their hair to however they want - everyone is different arent they? Everyone has different styles, dont they? If you saw someone in the street with a bright, unique hairstyle, and then saw someone with the normal hairstyle they were born with, which are you most lightly to remember? Isnt that the same with schools? They want to be remembered! So please - Everyone is different, we need to respect that, and allow people to show that - Its part of our human rights!! Please sign this petition to back me up against many teachers. Thank You
